DNREC’s Division of Energy & Climate has announced changes to the Green Energy Fund grant program for Delmarva Power residential customers.
The SEU Upfront Purchase program has been closed to Part 2 applications. All funding ($3,750,000) has been reserved by currently submitted Part 2 applications. Please contact us if you have any questions.
This post is a reminder that Part 1 applications for the SEU Upfront Purchase Program will no longer be accepted starting April 1st. The deadline for submitting Part 1 applications is Friday, March 31st.
The SEU has begun the process of ending the SEU Upfront SREC Purchase Program once the $3,750,000 allocated to the program has been dispersed to eligible projects. In order to make this a smooth transition the following actions have been taken:

All of the information listed on each of these applications will be needed in order for your application to be considered. The webinar for the Green Grant Delaware program presented on August 1st has been posted and can be viewed below:
The online grant application process for all Delmarva Power customer solar pv, solar hot water, geothermal, and wind grants, as well as all Delaware non-residential and non-profit solar hot water and geothermal grants and the Delaware Sustainable Energy Utility (SEU) Upfront SREC purchase program, will be available at www.greengrantdelaware.com starting at 8:00 EST on August 4th. This online system replaces the paper system currently administered by the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, as well as introducing new SEU sponsored programs with higher caps for non-residential and non-profit solar hot water and geothermal and the SEU Upfront SREC Purchase program.
A webinar will be held on Friday, August 1st at 1:00 EST to cover the both the new Delaware Green Energy Grant Program online application process, as well as the new Delaware Sustainable Energy Utility (SEU) SREC Purchase Program.
