The SEU SREC Purchase Program has a total budget of $3,750,000 available for SREC purchases. The program application has two parts, one to be completed before construction and one to be completed post-construction. Submitting a Part 1 application demonstrates one’s interest in the program, but does not secure an SREC purchase by the SEU. Funds are not reserved for a facility with a Part 1 application. Funding will only be allocated to a facility once Part 2 of the application has been submitted. All Part 2 applications will be reviewed and approved in the order they are submitted.
The SEU Upfront Purchase Program is no longer accepting Part 1 applications. Funds will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis upon the submission of a Part 2 application. All systems must be complete by October 15th, 2017. We will not accept any Part 2 applications after October 15th, 2017.

The chart above represents the $3,750,000 budget of the program. The green section of the pie chart represents the money that has already been allocated to approved systems. As of May 30, 2017 about 91.5% of the program funds have been allocated. The blue section of the chart represents the funds that are still available in the program. This is about 8.5% of the program funds.
Funds Available vs. Funds Requested:
The chart above shows the amount of funds requested via a Part 1 application vs. the amount of funds currently available. There are current more funds requested with Part 1 applications then there are funds available. As stated above, a Part 1 application does not reserve any funds. Funds will be allocated to submitted Part 2 applications on a first come, first serve basis. As of May 30, 2017, $817,137 has been requested through Part 1 applications. There is currently $319,535 available in the program.
